The Glowbal Group launched an extension to the Golden Age of Steak (Black + Blue) called “The Roof at Black+Blue” in April 2013. The Roof boasts that it is Vancouver’s largest rooftop dining area and opens up Black+Blue to a brunch experience. Located on the third floor of the restaurant, the patio is covered by awnings and surrounded by propane fireplaces that make eating outside in the Vancouver weather, comfortable and sophisticated.
Brunch on The Roof is weekend only, Saturday & Sunday from 11:30am to 3:00pm, but dinner is available seven days a week. Until January 19th, the Glowbal Group has 25% off of lunch/brunch at all of their locations.
I went this past weekend with my family to see what brunch on the Roof was worth the hype I’ve seen on places like VancityBuzz. Black + Blue is known for its sophisticated atmosphere and gourmet food. The Roof shows many of the same design elements that makes it feel like a modern living room on a patio.
